Thanks for the answer. I've been a little bit bussy in the meantime, so
excause my late answer.
I've create a new profile with TB, added lightning 1.2.3 and subscribed
one of the calendars, which works fine. After Reboot the calendar is
showing the events (stored in cache), but it is not possible to add or
change en event (Error: Modification failed).
This is the same on linux (ubuntu) and Win XP.
Are you sure that is a client problem ?
I'll test the integrator-xpi the next days. Perhaps this will work.

Seems a client side problem, can you try to empty your thunderbird
profile and re-install addon?
