In order to be absolutely sure just make a full backup with sogo-tool.
Then stop sogod.
Drop all SOGo tables in MySQL.
Then start sogod and restore your backup.

When you start sogod, it will create all tables for this given version
of SOGo.

Beware:
This does _not_ include your authorization database!
