17.0.2 is not working either.
This is a huge pitty, since I switched to Thunderbird and Sogo Connector
only to be able to sync my address book between iPhone and my PC.
Have you any alternative to get to this result ?

Looks like google has added some kinds of filters to prevent
Caldav/Cardav access unless your application is whitelisted by google
