I am using ActiveSync on a Blackberry 10 device (with very little data volume, though) as a secondary account and it works fine. My sons use ActiveSync on Android devices (CM13, i.e. Android 6.0.1) - no problems so far. On Android it will depend on which client App you use because ActiveSync is not part of the OS but implemented in the app. On the Android devices of my sons I installed Blackberry Hub.
