interesting information, thanks. This could point us in the right direction, now I could reproduce a similar problem too ...: If I use German language settings and select a date for enable or disable or both within March (regardless which year), then in German this month contains an umlaut (M_ä_r) and so the save button stays grey and the line under the date stays red. After Switching to English the month becomes 'M_a_r' -> no umlaut and I can save/activate the vacation message. I did all my former tests within February and so I didn't observe this (IMHO) bug.
