Hello Problem with slow IE is based on the used Google framework called "Angular Material". Nothing the SOGo developers can do about. Google just doesn't care about IE support.
I personally didn't have problems with Google Chrome. I assume you did disable "Animation-Level" in Preferences. Are those client machines with small RAM?
