Again, I think I am having the same or similar problem.  I posted earlier
about not being able to write to the journal (no ans yet).  MY bayes file
path is /var/,spamassassin - That dir has bayes file mode 0666.  I cahnged
that to 0777, and the journal file did appear later, but it's still not
being written to, and I'm still not auto-learning anything.  I did try
rebuilding, with no visible effects.  SA otherwise is working well, and
Bayes evaluation is working - just no auto-learning and errors writing to
the journal noted in the mail log.  Thanks - John
