Problem 1: In upgrading to 3.0 from 2.x there seems to be some confusion with the local.cf and 10_misc.cf file.
I should be using the one located in /etc/mail/spamassassin/ correct? What happens is I get 2 sets of spam report in each email. the 1st one saying: Spam detection software, running on the system ... Etc,=20 and the second one that I wrote saying Our company's spam filtering server .... ETC I totally removed the lines in 10_misc.cf that say "Spam detection software", replacing them with mine, and NO=20 File in the /etc/mail/spamassassin/ folder contains the words "Spam detection software, running on the system" I am not sure what is going on. ( Yes I did restart SA) Problem 2: Rules for checking multiple items on one line. I am creating my rule like below with a pipe separating each word, or group of words to match, is this the correct way? body MY_SCAM_RULE_1 /free money|chep stuff/i score MY_SCAM_RULE_1 7 describe MY_SCAM_RULE_1 Scam Spammers Question: If I make a change to SA configs do I need to restart SA? Is there a way to do that besides killing the process, and then starting the process? Examples etc will be greatly appreciated! Thanks Joey
