The best way I have found for us to store those settings is using SA's MySQL capabilities. I looked at MailScanner, amavisd-new, and now Mimedefang. I could not see where those utilities supported custom settings in the fashion we wanted.
I agree with you that this method of doing things is quite ugly. Unfortunately with the resources I have and the parameters I have been given, this is the best way I have found. So back to the original question, any ideas as to why the second instance of SA will not modify the headers? Also, thank you for the quick responses. Tom
