Looks like resolv.conf is overwritten each time I reboot.
I'll implement your "chattr +i" suggestion after I've convinced
myself that I have a stable solution that works each and every
time.
For now, I'm using the "cp file1 file2" to overwrite resolve.conf
each time I reboot.
A piece of advice: take a look at the rcs/ci/co commands, and use them to
"version control" your configuration files. That makes it easy to keep a
backup copy of a known-working config file, and to keep a history of the
changes you've made to those files.
