Hi Reko,

I find a similarly named file here:

/etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf

I wonder if the syntax for the two
files is the same.  I'm running Debian
Squeeze.

The file is small enough that I thought
I'd upload it as an attachment.

Thanks for replying!  You are not at
all too late.  I'm still figuring things out
as I go.

Manually overwriting /etc/resolv.conf each
time I boot is definitely working.  However, it 
would be nice to have a more permanent solution.

In other words, It would be nice to set my 
nameserver to localhost permanently.

Of course, I can always play with the file
attributes in some way so as to prevent
overwriting as one person has suggested.  
However, I think your suggestion is more
ideal.
