I don't think so. :) It could be implemented as a separate package. It could be implemented by adding another dispatcher that picks requests to .less or .sass files. Or better yet, by decorating or overriding ResourceCache. This last option is actually used in a company package to implement CSS and JavaScript minification before Tapestry 5.3 provided it out-of-the-box.
