Just so everybody knows I'm still here :-)

Yes, please post a patch to Shale. The only reason the Shale-Tiles component
has not been updated is because neither I nor any other Shale committer has
found the time to do it. I apologize for our negligence. It doesn't mean
we're not supporting it, just that no one has had time to support it in
about a year. My problem is that I'm not using Tiles in an app anywhere with
JSF so I don't really have a good way to test the code. It would require
about five minutes to make the change, but I can't check it in without
testing it.

So if somebody wants to open a ticket and/or send me a quick example I can
work with I might be more likely to find time to address it. Otherwise it's
likely to be a long time again before I can actually get it done.
