My question is: Is it reasonable to expect Tomcat clustering to work for servers not in the same network? Widely separated in different states?
I have read the docs but don't understand the whole multicast thing. I have set up two servers with clustering enabled on the same subnet and they see each other, no problem. Then I tried to add another server on a different subnet, no dice.
