hello i try to use the bundled tomcat with netbeans on windows XP. when i try to deploy, i get this error about tomcat authorization: Access to Tomcat server has not been authorized. Set the correct username and password with the "manager" role in the Tomcat customizer in the Server Manager. in the server manager i set a user plus password the same user with password is set in /usr/share/netbeans/5.5/enterprise3/apache- tomcat-5.5.17/conf/tomcat-users.xml after editing this tomcat-users.xml i restarted netbeans (and tomcat with it) to be precise: before that error-message there is a popup called "tomcat manager application", which requests username and password that one is cleared and requests again as long as i type any user-password-combination but if i fill in: user=tomcat, password=tomcat it throws this former error has somebody got experience with tomcat in netbeans?
