trafficserver-2.18-unstable on Ubunut 11.04?

I'm trying out the 2.1.8 release on Ubuntu 11.04.   It builds and installs 
without error but it won't start.  No error messages.  No logs.  (works ok on 
my centos 5.5 vm)
