Hi,
I have allocated 2T for Cache and 10G as RAM cache. As per docs there
is 10MB of RAM required for 1GB of disk space. But in my case all 10G
is used up early. Is this normal? Can someone please guide on this.
If you configured 10GB of RAM cache, it will consume that (at least).
I’m not sure what the 10Mb of RAM / 1GB of disk space comes from, I
think that’s the default for the RAM cache if you specify it as -1. If
you have specified a 10GB RAM cache, then that’s what you get.
In addition, you will consume 1MB of RAM per GB of disk cache, for the
directory entries (but that also depends on
proxy.config.cache.min_average_object_size).
