I'm pretty sure that doing SPF (Sender Policy Framework) records with VegaDNS should be fairly simple, but I wanted to see if anyone else was doing it before I touch production systems. I'm using VegaDNS 0.8.1 at the moment. Information on SPF is here:
http://spf.pobox.com/
An example spf record for iowatelecom.net would look like this for TinyDNS:
'iowatelecom.net:v=spf1 ip4\07269.66.0.0/17 ptr -all:3600
I'm assuming that the "\072" is because VegaDNS doesn't parse the colon properly. I think this is supposed to be a TXT record.
Any thoughts?
Thanks In Advance
