I completely agree, actually. I'm not opposed to the idea it just kinda struck me as odd at the time. I'm not entirely sure why, but there it is. Having one place even as a jumping off point would certainly help adoption. I know what I was trying to convince my current company to use wicket the question of "where else is it used" came up several times. Something like that would certainly have helped.
