Hey, I tried your example and seems to be working indeed. I haven't found the time to update my original project, but I'm sure it'll work using the same implementation. I just hope that someone will fix the bug, because the other bug I reported, also concerning ModalWindow, hasn't been fixed to (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WICKET-1576). So I'll have to implement your workaround, if I want my project to go in production.
