chuckle, I wasn't knocking it Martin... I don't see how you would know how to auto-authenticate from the framework :) What was missing in the wicket-auth-roles framework, was actually a way to "pre-check the users authorization and then allow the login page if they were not already authenticated or allow them through to the secure page if the were... which is what I had to hack in.
