Hi, For the moment, if the URL also includes the http:// or ftp:// of https:// part, then it will automatically be transformed to a link. We don't do this transformation for URLs starting with www (without the http:// part), but you can make a jira issue to ask for this, and if we vote that it won't be a dangerous change, it could be implemented in 15 minutes.
