Note that there's a parameter for setting the default to be XWiki 2.0  
syntax for all new pages,

Does this parameter also work for XWiki Enterprise 1.7.2.16857 because i 
thought its new in XW 1.8?

This is a bug in the old WYSIWYG-Editor (syntax 1.0). I had some discussion
