Ok thanks you for your test. I used .WAR on tomcat and environment.permanentDirectory=/home/data_xwiki/ in xwiki.properties

FYI I’ve downloaded the 5.4.2 distribution (the jetty zipped one) and I’ve removed the [datadir]/jobs/status/distribution/status.xml file and restarted and I get the DW. I’m logged as Admin.
