It's not failing. This is the Upgrade Plan. By clicking on Continue you confirm that you want the Upgrade Plan to be applied. And the message "Installed version 6.4.1 is not valid" is normal: you changed the war (so you have new XWiki APIs, v6.4.2) but the UI that is installed (the wiki pages you have in database) are using the old APIs (6.4.1).
