Hi, As far as I know, this is actually not possible to work with ecore to develop XWiki application (note that I was not aware of this semanticXWiki extension).
However, ecore is a technology we are currently investigating in a research project for converting models (with ATL) from Business Process to XWiki (not as an application but as data). The application to display these data is still developed with the standard tools to develop XWiki application (i.e. in a wiki instance). As far as I understand, what you want to do is not at all related to what we want to do except that it will use ecore. However, if you ever try to develop something about using ecore with XWiki, please keep us in touch. I'm not really familiar with ecore technology at the moment (it's a partner who take care about that part in our research project), but it would still be nice if we can have a vague idea of what is happening around this subject...
