Location: Knoxville, TN Duration: 6 months - J2EE, Oracle, Maven, Hudson, Wicket, Hibernate, Spring - Open Source Experience? They must have contributed to open source (debug, fix, develop with) and not just used open source. - What are their open source contributions? - If don't have open source contributions experience then wants them to have python, erlang or clojure experience. - Experience with Sun One, JBOSS, BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, or other application server desired. - Understanding of J2EE including Open source, n-tier architecture, object oriented Analysis and Design. Experience with an IDE would be a plus. - Fundamental understanding of data models and relational databases (preferably Oracle). - Experience in and success with Agile software development methodologies, especially Scrum and eXtreme Programming (XP). Experience utilizing continuous integration environments and comprehensive xUnit testing and TDD (test driven development) -. Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), SOAP, Web Services, and TIBCO in the enterprise is a big plus. They are looking for someone who is active and engaged in the software development community. Scrum / Agile Experience (about 2 years into utilizing it) experience working in small teams in small spaces.
