QA Software Engineer Qualifications: • 3-5 years experience in software application development and testing • Prior experience with java programming • Ability to quickly grasp the design and architecture of complex application systems • Ability or willingness to understand and work with large volume of unstructured data • Experience testing REST based web services a plus • Experience writing test plans and test suites • Ability to create test strategies to test for reliability, performance and scalability. • Familiarity with one scripting language • Working knowledge of Linux, Apache and Tomcat. • Good understanding of relational databases and ability to demonstrate proficiency of SQL. (MySQL preferred) • Ability to work efficiently in a Linux/Unix based environments • Self-motivated, ability to work as part of a small team in an Agile development environment with minimal supervision • Good communication skills • Good analytical and problem solving skills Preferred Skills: • Experience with internationalization, UTF-8, time zones and currencies • Familiarity with search engine and crawler technologies Thanks, Sonali ZealTech Inc.
