*Responsibilities:* Analyze and develop ETL applications using Ab Initio/DB2 UDB/Oracle. Design, develop, document and implement new programs and subprograms, as well as enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing software. Develop testing and debugging routines and oversee execution. Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Build and maintain relationships with global and virtual teams and third parties on software development or support issues. Lead development and oversee programming and testing functions to ensure that projects are securely delivered and fulfill expectations. Understand the positioning of a solution within the company and to build a plan to effectively gain buy-in from all participants. Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards and processes. Mentor junior team members, develop departmental procedures and best practices standards. *Must have skills:* Minimum of 5+ years of Ab Initio experience hands-on experience in developing and supporting business applications for large corporations with experience in both batch and online systems. Minimum of 5 or more years of AbInitio experience. Expert in best practices for Data Marts and Enterprise DW architectures. Expert in best practices for information systems and reporting. Combination of Hadoop MapReduce/Hive/Pig experiences a plus. Relational database and SQL development experience required; extensive knowledge of relational databases (such as DB2, Oracle) a plus. Development experience in a cross-platform, multi-tier environment. In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle required. Ability to develop code that follows established coding guidelines. Strong communication skills with proven ability to present complex ideas and document in a clear and concise way.
