*Position: Hadoop Architect* Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 12 months+ *Responsibilities:* The Candidate will be responsible for the successful usage and adoption of Big Data solutions providing expert technical guidance on architecture, design, implementation, tuning, and integration. MUST be at an Architect level. *Technical/Functional Skills: * · At least five (5) years’ experience in a Lead Role · At least three (3) years of experience on using various Hadoop modules. Experience with MapR Distribution is a plus. · Deep project experience using different Hadoop modules – Java MR, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Oozie, HBase.. etc · Hand-on experience in Java development and be able to independently develop and handle large Java MR programs.
