Skills Required.* SharePoint Administrator will be tasked with the day-to-day administration, support and continued expansion of our public facing publishing sites hosted in *Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS)*. This position will be a liaison between the training and support team, technical team, management and users on SharePoint feature implementation and enhancement projects. *Initial responsibilities* as SharePoint Administrator include deploy and configure sites, lists and web parts. Configure, analyze, and tune Search Functions. Participate in escalation and support activities. Identify and evaluate SharePoint products and technologies and create detailed technical requirements documentation for implementation teams. Three to five years* enterprise** experience in administration of Microsoft tools.* One or more years of *SharePoint 2007 experience* is required. *Install and configure Sharepoint 2007* in support of Informatics initiatives. Review and provide hands-on guidance to Informatics SharePoint admin. Knowledge of collaboration and publishing sites, site collections, web parts, document libraries, and lists as they relate to SharePoint and know when and how to use them all effectively. Troubleshooting and problem resolution skills in *WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007* or equivalent enterprise level systems. Knowledge of content organization techniques such as *metadata, content types, relational databases, website Information Architecture, navigation*, etc. Strong *content organization* and knowledge *management skills. *Ability to communicate well, understand business needs and turn requirements into reality.
