JAVA / J2EE DEVELOPER LOCATION: RICHMOND, VA BILL RATE: $37/HR (MAX) DURATION: 12 MONTHS MUST BE LOCAL TO VA Job Description: The candidate must have at least 3+ years overall application development experience in distributed systems environments with Java/J2EE. The candidate must also have experience in one or more of the following languages or technologies: .Net (C#), HTML, XSLT, and XML with a good working knowledge of other web development languages and technologies such as (ASP, Java, JavaScript, and SQLServer). The candidate must have SQL experience and a thorough understanding of relational databases (preferably SQLServer and Oracle) from an application development perspective. Specifically, the candidate must understand and be able to modify, design, develop, test, and implement alternative methods (e.g., data access objects, stored procedures, and embedded or dynamic SQL) of interaction between business application software and underlying databases.
