I should be a perfect candidate for complaining about large file
attachments. Because I am about 6 km from my central office, I can not
connect faster than 28.8 kbit/s. My normal connection is 24 kbit/s. I have
been trying to get DSL, but my central office is not set up for it as far as
I'm concerned. If I was closer, I could get it. So, I have slow downloads.
It doesn't stop me from sending files or receiving them. If it takes a long
time, I just go do something else and come back later.
Slow download time is my weakest link, but I try not to let it get in my
way.
We all have our bears to cross, so let's not make too much of a big deal
about this and get on with metrication.
