[USMA:10623] IEEE disappointing

A colleague has just got hold of an IEEE Guide to Bluetooth. I was
somewhat surprised and very disappointed to see references to the
range of the system to '30 feet' and '300 feet'.

In another IEEE Proceedings I saw references to pounds in one of the
research papers.

I thought the IEEE required SI in submissions?
