Unfortunately, most real estate transactions in Canada still use
IFP units, evidenced by the sign you listed (For Rent, 6000 sq. ft).

Most people that I know in Canada talk about distances
in the amount of time it takes to travel them, not the
numerical amount of kilometres between here and there.
