Let's be accurate, Jim.
The "year" is listed in Table 6, "accepted for use" with SI,
with no stated limitations or qualifications.
The "hectare" is listed in Table 8, with deprecation by the word
"currently" accepted, and by the constraint "...use is not encouraged."
There are things I would like to change in the official SI also
if I had the clout to do so. e.g. All prefix symbols for multiples greater
than one are uppercase symbols. They are: D, H, K, M, G, T, P, E, Z, and Y.
Help sell that improvement to members of the CIPM.
