I strongly urge the APWA to recommend METRIC (SI) for all
construction. Never concur with the use of dual units.
Last year a Colorado DOT engineer told me they use inch-pound because
contractors can not get metric drain fittings. I hope you know a way
around this nonsense.
The US wastes a lot of money by using inch-pound units. Even our children
do badly on international tests because they do not know metric.
The APWA can be a big help. GO METRIC.
