One of my goals is to see that all Web Pages, posted by
Departments and Agencies of the Federal Executive Branch, use SI
in *first* place, if not exclusively, in accord with existing Law
and Executive Order which direct preferential use of SI.
There are no acceptable excuses for evasion of the Order
with respect to information on the Web. No lives are at stake.
Webmasters are the persons to remind of the Executive Order.
They, in turn, usually pass the buck to persons with more authority for
compliance. This has established contacts in several cases to date.
