Madan,
You forgot an important reason some vendors avoid the simplicity
of SI. Some less-ethical vendors like confusion of units so that they
can mislead, if not deceive, consumers about the price/amount of product.
Almost without exception, vendors oppose mandatory unit pricing laws.
