Consumer opposition is a farce, or at best a lame excuse. What opposition
did the auto industry receive from consumers? How about wine, spirits and
soft drinks? What about cameras and film? What about mouthwashes, hair
products and cosmetics? Plus other already metric products?

Many products are not sold by a dimension and can easily be made to metric
specs. If there was a problem with consumer opposition, then the product
could still be metric, but FFU could be included on the package. There are
ways for a product to be fully metric in design and manufacture, but fool
the consumer when needed to keep them believing it is still FFU.

Don't believe or perpetuate these tired old excuses.

John

Keiner ist hoffnungsloser versklavt als derjenige, der irrtmlich glaubt
frei zu sein.

There are none more hopelessly enslaved then those who falsely believe they
are free!
