Thanks, Stephen. I posted the following as a "suggestion" on their
feedback page:
Congratulations on your fine looking weather page.
I certainly appreciate seeing the weather data in SI
("metric") units. I have a few comments though:
1. The SI symbol for kilometers per hour is km/h, not kph.
2. Temperature symbols need a raised circle. That is
easily done in HTML using an extended ascii value (0176)
or ° in the coding. (In case your reader interprets the
last form, that's "deg" prefixed by "&" and suffixed by ";".)
NOTE: The space should appear between the number and the
raised circle, not between the raised circle and the "C".
3. The thumbnail temperature map on the page for my zip code
(29407) was for the Middle East and so was the enlarged image.
At least the temperatures were in degrees Celsius (only!).
I would love to see the Southeast US map do the same--use
degrees Celsius only.
If you would like to see a comparison of Wunderground's banner product
on my college web page, go to http://www.cofc.edu/~frysingj
