Thanks for the suggestion Ralph. I'll try to make a contact in the Office of Statistical Standards at the EIA. I plan to ask the Inspector General in the Department of Energy to investigate non-compliance of the EIA with the Executive Order requiring preferential use of SI. (copies to the EIA and to others). The IG Office at NASA did invite and some of us sent suggestions for more effective implementation of SI in NASA programs (in connection with the IG's Report on the loss of the Mars Climate Orbiter). Acceptance, if any, by the NASA Chief Engineer is still unknown, at least to me. ..........................................
