2001-08-31 I saw two errors: 1.) They converted the metres to yards as 1:1 instead of 1:0.9144. But, this is common practice anyway. You now have two definitions of the yard: One equal to the metre and one less than the metre. In history, the yard and other FFU have changed values quite often. So, why not this time? This brings up a question. Which is/as correct? The metres or the yards! 2.) The hump sign did not use the proper symbol. It looks like the spelled it without vowels. So, what is being done in Britain to change the laws to "allow" metric signage and to allow pub ale in litres?
