Sobey's, a supermarket chain based in Nova Scotia,
opened a store recently in Kanata, Ontario. When visiting
it I noticed that like most Canadian supermarkets, the
produce section had dual pricing, with the price per pound
the large numbers, and price per kg in very small type.
What bothered me is that the deli counter also had dual
pricing. Most deli counters in this area, only list the price
per 100g, and most people order their deli meats and
cheeses in grams. As soon as I saw that their deli
was set up this way, I walked out. I just won't shop there.
