The question "ISO 8601? What is that?", was a rethorical one; the opinion I
think those sycophants have about the meaning of the term "international
standards". In other words, I presume that they will ask that question, as
they evidently think that MM/DD/YYYY is the global standard. I *do* know
what ISO 8601 is, indeed.
