At work, we use Lotus Word-pro. I haven't paid attention to the ruler, but
I noticed the header and footer, etc. defaults are in centimetres. If in
the regional settings of Windows the default units are set to metric,
Wordpro is also metric. But, the default values are always non-rational
numbers, such as the distance from the left edge of the page to where the
text starts would be 0.1 in or 2.54 cm.

I would like to see totally different defaults displayed when metric is the
chosen system, such as 2 cm, or any rational to one decimal place, where the
digit to the right of the decimal is either a 0 or a 5. I was able to
change the settings manually and create a default master. But, it is a real
irritation to have those awful hidden FFU numbers staring at you.
