I certainly understood that. I hope others weren't under any illusions about it. If most of the planet's population were to be wiped out in a nuclear war, it's something the survivors might want to consider, although I suspect they'd have other priorities -- at least initially. Short of that, it's out of the question for more reasons than just the ones you mentioned. In any case, as calendars deal with reckoning, rather than with actual measurement, it's way beyond the scope of SI and the goals of most members of this list.
