I think that my words were a little bit misunderstood. When I said that we need leadership I meant in the discussion on the list and not in US metrication.
I was not criticizing our leadership for the achievements in US metrication. I do not consider myself informed/qualified enough to make that criticism. I would be playing Monday morning quarterback! I was only criticizing the officers for not communication through the List (which I see as the main USMA forum) their progams and schedule for the inormation of the members and to search for new ideas. It is my personal feeling that although I do pay my dues and I do follow the List thoroughly, I am however in the dark with what's going on. And, yes, MT does provide enough coverage but all things are pass�. In the era of e-mail and PDAs, I think we could do better in comunicating with our leadership. Finally, all this an attempt to improve the subjects on the list and focus them in the right directions.
