With the euro the conversion factor is too nasty to carry on with that.
And another thing: it ends a scam in the Eurotunnel terminal on the French
side. For instance, you could get a cup of coffee for 1.35 pounds sterling.
But you were not allowed to pay that exact amount. No, you had to pay two
pounds and then they gave you back 50 French centimes!
