2002-02-22 First of all, it isn't off topic. I feel adopting the ISO-8601 is parallel to adopting SI. The same people against SI would also oppose ISO-8601. If we see people starting to adopt ISO-8601, then we can feel there is hope for SI Those accepting of ISO-8601 are more likely to be pro-metric too.
If I want someone to see the page, I post it. This increases the chance of it being noticed. By posting just a URL, there is a greater chance it will be ignored and not clicked on. If you like to post just URL's, then feel free to do so, but don't rain on my parade, if I like to post the whole page. You do your thing your way, and I'll do my thing my way.
